🍰 Crispy Apple Curd Casserole

Ingredients
- grapes, white 250 g
- apples, red 3 pcs
- lemons 1 pcs
- eggs 4 pcs
- butter 100 g
- sugar 125 g
- salt pinch
- quark 40 % fat in total 500 g
- vanilla pudding powder 1 packet
- fine semolina 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Wash the grapes thoroughly and cut them in half.
- 3. Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 4. Squeeze the juice from the half lemon and drizzle it over the apple cubes to prevent them from browning.
- 5. Mix the grapes and apples in a greased casserole dish.
- 6. Separate the eggs so that you have the egg whites and egg yolks separately.
- 7. Beat the egg whites in a bowl with a hand mixer and a whisk until stiff peaks form.
- 8. Mix 100 grams of butter with sugar and salt in a second bowl until creamy.
- 9. Add the egg yolks and the curd cheese to the butter mixture and mix everything well.
- 10. Stir in pudding powder and semolina briefly.
- 11. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the curd cheese mixture using a spoon.
- 12. Pour the curd cheese mixture evenly over the fruits in the casserole dish.
- 13. Distribute the remaining butter in small pieces on the surface of the casserole.
- 14. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
- 15. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes if the surface becomes too dark.
- 16. Serve the apple curd casserole hot or lukewarm.
