🍽️ Antipasti Focaccia

Ingredients
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pc.
- water 280 ml
- sugar 1 tbsp
- wheat flour, type 405 500 g
- salt 0.5 tsp
- olive oil 7 tbsp
- olives, green 50 g
- bell peppers in a jar 50 g
- sea salt 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water with the sugar in a bowl.
- 2. Let the mixture rest covered for about 10 minutes.
- 3. Add the flour, the salt, and 4 tablespoons of oil.
- 4. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 5. Let the dough rise in a warm place covered for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
- 6. Place the olives and the peppers in a colander to drain.
- 7. Cut the peppers into thin strips.
- 8. Knead the dough again briefly.
- 9. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to the size of the baking sheet.
- 10. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 11. Let the dough rise covered again for approx. 30 minutes.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 225 °C (top/bottom heat).
- 13. Press indentations into the dough with floured fingers.
- 14. Drizzle 3 tablespoons of oil evenly over the dough.
- 15. Sprinkle some sea salt over it.
- 16. Distribute the olives and pepper strips evenly on top.
- 17. Press the toppings lightly into the dough.
- 18. Bake the focaccia for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- 19. Enjoy the antipasti focaccia immediately while warm.
