🍰 Pineapple Rum Cake

Ingredients
- Pineapple pieces from the can 500 g
- chocolate, white 150 g
- eggs 1 pcs
- yogurt, plain 150 g
- sugar 200 g
- salt pinch
- orange juice 100 ml
- sunflower oil 150 ml
- wheat flour, Type 405 400 g
- baking powder 2 tsp
- white rum 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection). Let the pineapple drain and chop the chocolate roughly.
- 2. Beat the eggs together with yogurt, sugar, salt, orange juice, and oil in a bowl until creamy using a hand mixer. Then mix in the flour, baking powder, and rum.
- 3. Fill half of the batter into a greased and floured springform pan. Sprinkle the chocolate over it and place half of the pineapple on top. Spread the remaining batter and the rest of the pineapple on top. Bake the whole thing in the oven for about 40–45 minutes.
- 4. Let the pineapple-chocolate cake cool down, remove it from the pan, and garnish it with white chocolate sprinkles if desired. Enjoy!
