  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly under running water.
  3. 3. Cut the bell peppers into quarters.
  4. 4. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell pepper quarters.
  5. 5. Season the pepper pieces with a little salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Place the peppers on a baking sheet with the skin side facing up.
  7. 7. Cook the peppers for about 15 minutes on the middle rack in the oven.
  8. 8. Halve the onion and peel it.
  9. 9. Cut the onion into fine dice.
  10. 10. Wash the mint and shake it dry.
  11. 11. Pluck the mint leaves from the stems.
  12. 12. Cut the mint leaves into fine strips.
  13. 13. Add the onion dice and half of the mint to a bowl.
  14. 14. Add cumin, minced meat, egg, and salt to the bowl.
  15. 15. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
  16. 16. Distribute the meat mixture evenly onto 8 wooden skewers.
  17. 17. Press the meat mixture firmly onto the skewers.
  18. 18. Place the Adana kebab skewers on a different baking sheet.
  19. 19. Cook the skewers together with the peppers in the oven for another 15 minutes.
  20. 20. Peel the garlic and chop it roughly.
  21. 21. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sugar in a pan over medium heat.
  22. 22. Sauté the chopped garlic for about 2 minutes in the pan.
  23. 23. Drain the beans in a sieve.
  24. 24. Place the garlic, beans, honey, 2 tablespoons of cold water, vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a tall container.
  25. 25. Puree the ingredients until you reach the desired consistency.
  26. 26. Season the hummus with salt and pepper to taste.
  27. 27. Stir the remaining mint into the bean hummus.
  28. 28. Take the Adana kebab skewers and the roasted peppers out of the oven.
  29. 29. Arrange the skewers and peppers on plates.
  30. 30. Serve the white bean hummus alongside.
