  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Mix the softened butter with the sugar until the mixture is light and creamy.
  3. 3. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the lemon zest in a separate bowl.
  4. 4. Add the eggs one by one to the butter mixture and whisk each egg well before adding the next.
  5. 5. Fold the flour mixture gently into the butter batter until no more flour is visible.
  6. 6. Fill the batter into 8 greased Magdalena molds or small muffin cups.
  7. 7. Bake the Magdalenas for 15 minutes until golden yellow.
  8. 8. Dust the cooled Magdalenas with powdered sugar.
