🥗 Khichdi - Lentil Rice

Ingredients
- 100g Basmati Rice
- 100g Yellow Lentils
- 1 Stück Onion
- 1 Stück, circa 2 cm Ginger
- 1 TL Cumin
- 2 EL Ghee or Oil
Instructions
- 1. Sauté onion in ghee or oil in a pot.
- 2. Add ginger and cumin, sauté briefly.
- 3. Add rice and lentils, mix well.
- 4. Add water and bring to a boil.
- 5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- 6. Serve warm.
