Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 250 ml lukewarm milk
- 75 g sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 100 g soft butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 2–3 tbsp cinnamon
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1 pinch powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, combine flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt. Add lukewarm milk and soft butter and knead everything into a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
- 2. Roll the risen dough into a rectangle on a floured work surface. Sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll the dough evenly from the long edge and cut into slices about 3 cm thick.
- 3. Place the dough rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a large baking dish and let them rise for another 15 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Serve with a glaze made of powdered sugar, if desired.
