  1. 1. Peel the white asparagus and trim off the woody ends. Rinse the green asparagus and trim the ends as well. Cut both types of asparagus into bite-sized pieces and briefly blanch in boiling water.
  2. 2. Roll out the pizza dough thinly and spread with crème fraîche. Distribute the asparagus pieces evenly on top, crumble the mozzarella over it, and drizzle with a little olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 220 °C for about 12 to 15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and crispy. Garnish with arugula or ham if desired and enjoy immediately.
