🍽️ Spargelpizza: An Elegant Spring Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 200 g green asparagus
- 150 g white asparagus
- 150 g mozzarella
- 100 g ham
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 handful arugula
Instructions
- 1. Peel the white asparagus and trim off the woody ends. Rinse the green asparagus and trim the ends as well. Cut both types of asparagus into bite-sized pieces and briefly blanch in boiling water.
- 2. Roll out the pizza dough thinly and spread with crème fraîche. Distribute the asparagus pieces evenly on top, crumble the mozzarella over it, and drizzle with a little olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 220 °C for about 12 to 15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and crispy. Garnish with arugula or ham if desired and enjoy immediately.
