  8. 8. Cook the asparagus in water for 5 minutes.
  9. 9. Alternatively, briefly sauté the asparagus in butter.
  10. 10. Dice the onion finely.
  11. 11. Sauté the onion cubes until translucent.
  12. 12. Briefly fry the ham cubes if desired.
  13. 13. Mix the cream, milk, and eggs in a bowl.
  14. 14. Season the liquid with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.
