🍽️ Asparagus in Puff Pastry: Quick, Easy & Delicious

Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (from the refrigerated section)
- 500 g green asparagus
- 200 g cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp herbs (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the asparagus thoroughly, remove or simply snap off the tough ends, and blanch in boiling water for about 2–3 minutes depending on thickness. Then drain well.
- 2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into equal-sized rectangles. Spread each piece with cream cheese and season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- 3. Place a few asparagus spears on the dough, roll up, and seal the edges well. Brush with beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
