  2. 2. Puree the pre-cooked and peeled chestnuts until you have a smooth mixture.
  3. 3. Cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then fold in the chestnut puree.
  4. 4. Combine the flour with baking powder and ground almonds, then alternate adding it with the milk to the batter.
  5. 5. Pour the batter into the prepared springform, smooth the top, and bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes. Perform a skewer test.
  6. 6. Allow the cake to cool completely, remove it from the pan, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
