  1. 1. In a large pot, combine vegetable broth, strained tomatoes, and spices, and bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the pasta, stir everything well, and simmer on medium heat with the lid on until the pasta is almost cooked (see time on the package).
  3. 3. Wash the tomatoes and halve them, tear the mozzarella into pieces, separate the basil leaves, and chop them roughly.
  4. 4. Once the pasta is al dente, fold in the tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella, and mix everything well.
  5. 5. Let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes on low heat so the mozzarella melts slightly – and it's ready to serve!
