Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- 80 g sugar
- 1 cube yeast
- 250 g ground poppy seeds
- 50 g butter
Instructions
- 1. Heat the milk slightly and dissolve the yeast in it. Then knead with flour, sugar, and a little butter into a smooth dough and let it rest in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
- 2. Mix the ground poppy seeds with sugar, milk, and possibly a little vanilla until a creamy mass forms.
- 3. Roll out the dough, spread the poppy seed filling evenly on top, and roll it up. Bake the strudel in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 30 to 35 minutes.
