🍰 Croissant Casserole with Berries and Chocolate

Ingredients
- 5 croissants
- 300 ml milk
- 150 g skyr
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 pinch vanilla
- handful chocolate chips
- 50 g berries
- 50 g grated almonds
- 1 pinch powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top and bottom heat) and grease a baking dish with some butter. Cut the croissants in half through the middle and place them in the dish.
- 2. Mix the milk, eggs, skyr, brown sugar, and vanilla well. Pour the liquid evenly over the croissants so that they are covered at least halfway. Let them rest for 5 minutes, then turn them over and let them soak for another 5 minutes.
- 3. Garnish with berries, chocolate chips, and shaved almonds. Bake in the oven for 35–40 minutes until the egg mixture has set. Cover with aluminum foil towards the end if needed. Serve warm and dust with powdered sugar.
