🍛 Italian Sausage Rice Veggie Bowl

Ingredients
- 200 g Basmati rice
- 400 g Chicken breast fillet
- 200 g Peppers (mixed)
- 150 g Onion
- 1 Stk Chicken bouillon cube
- 20 ml Olive oil
- 800 ml Vegetable broth
- 5 g Dried oregano
- 5 g Paprika powder (sweet)
- 6 g Salt
- 3 g Black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast fillet into bite-sized cubes. Season them with salt, pepper, and half of the oregano.
- 2. Wash the rice and cook it in the vegetable broth (dissolved bouillon) or water with the bouillon cube. Cook it al dente (approx. 12-15 minutes).
- 3. Cut the peppers into strips and the onion into fine cubes.
- 4. Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Fry the chicken cubes over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
- 5. Remove the chicken from the pan. Fry the onions and peppers in the same fat for 5 minutes.
- 6. Return the chicken to the pan. Add the remaining oregano and paprika powder and mix everything.
- 7. Distribute the cooked rice onto 4 plates. Place the chicken-vegetable mixture on top.
- 8. Serve the bowls warm. Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley.
