  1. 1. Slice the ciabatta rolls lengthwise, but not all the way through. Spread the insides with part of the olive oil.
  2. 2. Slice the sausages and fry them in a pan until golden brown. Remove them from the pan.
  3. 3. Slice the bell pepper into strips and fry them in the same pan along with the sausages.
  4. 4. Place the mozzarella on one side of the roll, followed by the sausage and pepper mixture.
  5. 5. Sprinkle with fresh basil, salt, and pepper. Close the roll.
  6. 6. Fry the roll in a non-stick pan on both sides until crispy and golden brown, until the cheese melts.
