Ingredients
- 1 Rice
- 0.5 Urd Dal (Black Lentils)
- 1.5 Water
- 1 Salt
- 0.5 Oil
- 0.5 Baking Soda
Instructions
- 1. Soak rice and urd dal overnight.
- 2. Blend the soaked mixture and add water.
- 3. The mixture should reach a thick, smooth consistency.
- 4. Add baking soda and salt, mix well.
- 5. Fill the mixture into idli molds and steam for 15-20 minutes.
- 6. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
