  2. 2. Wash the apples, peel them, and remove the core. Slice them into thin wedges.
  3. 3. Caramelize the apple slices in a pan with the butter, sugar, and lemon juice for about 5 minutes until soft. Let them cool.
  4. 4. Slice the brie into thin slices.
  5. 5. Place the apple slices and brie slices over the entire pastry. Drizzle with the balsamic glaze (balsamic vinegar or pre-made glaze) and sprinkle with thyme leaves.
