🍽️ Herb-Crusted Meatballs in the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500g Ground beef
- 100g Breadcrumbs
- 1 Onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 EL Parsley
- 1 TL Thyme
- 1 Egg
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Dice the onion into very small cubes.
- 2. Mince the garlic clove very finely too.
- 3. Put the 500 g ground beef into a large bowl.
- 4. Add the minced onion and garlic to the meat.
- 5. Add the 100 g breadcrumbs to the bowl.
- 6. Add the egg, 2 tablespoons of parsley, 1 teaspoon of thyme, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper.
- 7. Knead the ingredients together with your hands to form a smooth mixture.
- 8. Shape the mixture into 12 equal-sized meatballs.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 10. Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket.
- 11. Cook the meatballs for 15 minutes at 180 °C, turning them after 7.5 minutes, until they are golden brown.
- 12. Sprinkle the remaining parsley and thyme over the meatballs.
- 13. Cook them for another 5 minutes at 180 °C, until the crust is golden brown.
- 14. Carefully remove the meatballs from the air fryer.
- 15. Let them rest for 2 minutes to redistribute the juices.
- 16. Serve the meatballs hot; the crust should be crispy.
