1. Process butter with sugar, salt, flour, baking powder and ground hazelnuts in a bowl to form a homogeneous dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and store in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
2. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (convection). Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface and cut out round cookies with a cookie cutter. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes. Then let the cookies cool down.
3. Bring about 500 ml of water to a boil in a pot. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt it in a bowl over a hot water bath. Then let it cool down slightly.
4. Dip the cookies with a fork into the melted chocolate so that the underside and edges are well coated. Place the hazelnut chocolate cookies on baking paper to dry. Enjoy!
