🦐 Flaming Shrimps with Roasted Pepper

Ingredients
- 300 g Shrimps (peeled, raw)
- 1 Stück Sweet bell pepper (whole, raw)
- 40 ml Olive oil (extra virgin)
- 4 Stück Garlic cloves (sliced)
- 60 ml Sherry (dry) or dry white wine
- 10 g Parsley (fresh, chopped)
- 3 g Salt
- 1 g Black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Clean the pepper inside and cut it into approx. 2 cm wide strips. Set aside.
- 2. Heat half of the olive oil in a non-stick pan over high heat. Fry the pepper strips for 3 minutes until crispy. Remove them.
- 3. Add the remaining oil and garlic to the same hot pan. Fry the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant, but do not let it burn.
- 4. Fry the shrimps in the garlic butter for 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove them and add the peppers back.
- 5. Pour the sherry or wine into the pan and scrape off the caramelized bits from the bottom. Let the liquid reduce for 1 minute.
- 6. Return the shrimps and peppers to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything.
- 7. Pour the dish into a hot bowl and sprinkle the parsley on top. Serve immediately.
