🦐 Gambas al Ajillo with Crispy Bread

Ingredients
- 400 g Shrimp (peeled, frozen or fresh)
- 60 ml Olive oil
- 4 Cloves of garlic
- 1 TL Chili flakes
- 1 Lemon
- 2 Scheiben Sourdough bread
- 0.5 TL Salt
- 1 EL Fresh parsley
Instructions
- 1. Thaw the shrimp and pat them dry thoroughly with kitchen paper.
- 2. Cut the garlic into very thin slices.
- 3. Heat the olive oil in a small non-stick pan over medium heat.
- 4. Add the garlic and chili flakes to the oil. Fry for approx. 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.
- 5. Add the shrimp to the pan. Fry for approx. 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- 6. Season the shrimp with salt and squeeze the juice of half the lemon over them.
- 7. Slice the bread and fry it in a separate pan or toast it until crispy.
- 8. Serve the shrimp immediately in the pan with the garlic oil. Place the crispy bread alongside.
- 9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
