  1. 1. Thaw the shrimp and pat them dry thoroughly with kitchen paper.
  2. 2. Cut the garlic into very thin slices.
  3. 3. Heat the olive oil in a small non-stick pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Add the garlic and chili flakes to the oil. Fry for approx. 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.
  5. 5. Add the shrimp to the pan. Fry for approx. 3-4 minutes until pink and cooked through.
  6. 6. Season the shrimp with salt and squeeze the juice of half the lemon over them.
  7. 7. Slice the bread and fry it in a separate pan or toast it until crispy.
  8. 8. Serve the shrimp immediately in the pan with the garlic oil. Place the crispy bread alongside.
  9. 9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
