🍗 Crusty Potato Tarte with Smoked Chicken Pieces

Ingredients
- 600 g Waxy potatoes (firm cooking)
- 320 g Puff pastry (frozen)
- 250 g Roasted smoked chicken (meat only)
- 2 Stk Onions
- 150 g Emmental cheese (grated)
- 20 g Butter
- 1 EL Mustard (medium-hot)
- 1 Prise Salt
- 1/2 TL Paprika (powdered)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (390 °F) conventional mode.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and slice them very thinly (approx. 2 mm).
- 3. Dice the chicken meat into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Dice the onions finely and sauté them in butter until translucent.
- 5. Mix the potato slices, chicken, onions, mustard, salt, paprika, and half of the cheese in a bowl.
- 6. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet into a rectangle (approx. 1 cm thick).
- 7. Distribute the potato filling evenly over the pastry, keeping the border clear.
- 8. Fold the free edges of the pastry over the filling and press firmly (or fold them inwards).
- 9. Brush the surface with a little water and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- 10. Bake the tarte for 35 to 40 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
- 11. Let the tarte rest for 10 minutes so the filling sets.
