🍲 Crispy Fennel and Potato Gratin

Ingredients
- 200 g Fennel bulbs
- 600 g Floury potatoes
- 200 g Crème fraiche (or sour cream)
- 50 g Gouda cheese, grated
- 20 g Butter
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Black pepper
- 1 g Nutmeg
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 2. Wash the fennel bulbs and slice them into thin pieces.
- 3. Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin slices (approx. 3 mm thick).
- 4. Butter a small baking dish.
- 5. Layer potato slices and fennel slices alternately in the dish.
- 6. Mix the crème fraiche with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- 7. Pour the sauce evenly over the vegetables.
- 8. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 60 minutes.
- 9. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the gratin.
- 10. Bake the dish for another 15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
- 11. Remove the gratin from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
