  1. 1. Mix the lukewarm milk with the yeast and sugar. Stir the mixture until smooth and everything has dissolved.

  3. 3. Knead the dough using the dough hooks of an electric mixer. Work it through until it is smooth.
  4. 4. Adjust the amount of milk if necessary. The dough should no longer stick to the bowl.
  5. 5. Cover the bowl. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  7. 7. Brush the baking tray with oil.
  8. 8. Peel the onions.
  9. 9. Slice the onions into thin rings.
  10. 10. Whisk the sour cream with the eggs.
  11. 11. Season the cream mixture with salt, caraway seeds, and pepper.
  12. 12. Take the dough out of the resting phase. Knead it well again on a floured work surface.

  14. 14. Place the dough on the prepared baking tray.
  15. 15. Form a crust edge from the dough.
  16. 16. Distribute the onion slices evenly over the dough.
