  2. 2. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
  3. 3. Crumble the yeast into the well.
  4. 4. Stir the yeast with half of the milk.
  5. 5. Let the mixture rise under a cloth for 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Melt the butter in the remaining milk.
  7. 7. Add the buttermilk to the dough.
  8. 8. Stir until the dough pulls away from the bottom of the bowl.
  9. 9. Let the dough rise under a cloth for 1 hour.
  10. 10. Peel the onions.
  11. 11. Cut the onions into thin strips.
  12. 12. Dice the bacon.
  13. 13. Fry the bacon in a hot pan over medium heat.
  14. 14. Add the onions.
  15. 15. Sauté the onions until translucent.
  16. 16. Let the onion and bacon mixture cool down.
  17. 17. Whisk the eggs with the sour cream.
  18. 18. Season the egg mixture with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds.
  19. 19. Fold the cooled onions into the egg mixture.
  20. 20. Roll out the dough.
  21. 21. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  22. 22. Place the dough on the sheet.
  23. 23. Form a small edge on the dough.
  24. 24. Spread the bacon and onion mixture over the dough.
  25. 25. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (convection 180 degrees or gas mark 3).
  26. 26. Bake the tart for about 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
