🍽️ Homemade Onion Chutney

Ingredients
- 250 g vegetable onion
- 3 red chili peppers (or 2 red hot peppers)
- 100 ml cold-pressed olive oil
- 100 ml lemon juice
- 50 ml lime juice
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions.
- 2. Finely chop the onions.
- 3. Slice the pepper or chili pepper lengthwise.
- 4. Remove the seeds from the pepper or chili pepper.
- 5. Dice the flesh of the pepper or chili pepper.
- 6. Put all ingredients except salt and sugar into a pot.
- 7. Bring the mixture in the pot to a boil.
- 8. Reduce the heat to a medium setting.
- 9. Let the chutney simmer quietly for 10 minutes.
- 10. Add the salt and sugar.
- 11. Stir until the salt and sugar have completely dissolved.
