Ingredients
- 500 g onions
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 0.125 l white wine vinegar
- 0.125 l water
- 2 tbsp honey
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 2 cloves
- 1 pinch allspice
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and cut them into wedges. Rinse the chili, slice it into thin rings, and bring it to a boil with the raisins, vinegar, and water.
- 2. Stir in the honey, 1/2 tsp salt, and the spices. Simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it cool, then season with salt and pepper.
