Ingredients
- 1 kg ripe plums
- 1 lemon
- 400 g coconut blossom sugar
- 2 tsp agar-agar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the plums thoroughly.
- 2. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 3. Cut the fruit halves into quarters lengthwise.
- 4. Squeeze the lemon.
- 5. Add the lemon juice and coconut blossom sugar to the plums.
- 6. Mix everything well together.
- 7. Let the mixture sit for at least one hour.
- 8. Heat water in a pot.
- 9. Place the jars in the hot water.
- 10. Boil the jars for ten minutes.
- 11. Bring the plum mixture to a boil slowly while stirring.
- 12. Add the agar-agar.
- 13. Boil the jam vigorously for five minutes.
- 14. Drop some jam onto a cold plate.
- 15. Let the sample cool down.
- 16. Check if the jam sets firmly.
- 17. Fill the hot jars to the brim with the jam.
- 18. Seal the jars tightly.
- 19. Place the jars upside down for ten minutes.
- 20. Turn the jars back over.
- 21. Let the jam cool down completely.
