  1. 1. Crumble the amaretti cookies roughly by hand or pulse them briefly in a food processor.
  2. 2. Wash the plums thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Remove the pits from the plums and cut the flesh into small cubes.
  4. 4. Set aside three tablespoons of the amaretti crumbs and keep them aside.
  5. 5. Mix the remaining amaretti crumbs in a bowl with the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder.
  6. 6. Gently fold the cubed plums into the dry flour mixture.
  7. 7. Whisk the yogurt, quark, eggs, and oil in a separate bowl until smooth and homogeneous.
  8. 8. Pour the liquid mixture quickly into the dry ingredients and stir briefly until just combined.
  9. 9. Fill the batter into the cups of the muffin tin lined with paper liners.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  11. 11. Bake the muffins for about 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  12. 12. Remove the tin from the oven and let the muffins cool down briefly inside it.
  13. 13. Take the muffins out of the tin and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
