  6. 6. Cut the peeled tomatoes into coarse pieces.
  7. 7. Puree the tomato pieces until smooth.

  9. 9. Dice the onion finely.
  10. 10. Wash the jalapeños.
  11. 11. Cut the jalapeños lengthwise.
  12. 12. Remove the seeds from the jalapeños.
  13. 13. Dice the deseeded jalapeños finely.
  14. 14. Finely chop the cilantro leaves.
  15. 15. Mix the pureed tomatoes with the diced onion, jalapeños, and cilantro.
