🍽️ Refreshing Lemon Balm Kefir Drinks

Ingredients
- 400 ml Buttermilk (Kefir)
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 sprig Lemon balm
- 1 tbsp Sugar (to taste)
- 2 Drinking straws
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fresh lemon balm thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Carefully pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 3. Set aside two nice leaves for later decoration.
- 4. Place the remaining lemon balm leaves into a mortar.
- 5. Add the sugar and the lemon juice.
- 6. Crush the mixture vigorously with the pestle until the flavors are released.
- 7. Stir the crushed balm mixture thoroughly with the buttermilk.
- 8. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve to remove solid particles.
- 9. Pour the finished drink into two glasses.
- 10. Garnish each drink with a drinking straw and the reserved lemon balm leaves.
- 11. Serve the drinks immediately and enjoy them fresh.
