🍽️ Zucchini Blossoms Stuffed with Rice and Minced Meat

Ingredients
- 200 g rice
- salt
- 16 zucchini blossoms
- 200 g minced meat
- 1 zucchini
- 1 shallot
- 1 clove of garlic
- olive oil
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice under running water.
- 2. Cook the rice in salted water until it is almost tender.
- 3. Drain the rice and let it cool down.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
- 5. Gently wash the zucchini blossoms.
- 6. Pat the blossoms dry with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Carefully open the sepals of the blossoms.
- 8. Remove the pistils and stamens from the inside of the blossoms.
- 9. Place the minced meat into a bowl.
- 10. Wash the zucchini.
- 11. Remove the tough ends of the zucchini.
- 12. Finely chop the zucchini.
- 13. Peel the shallot.
- 14. Peel the garlic clove.
- 15. Finely dice the shallot and garlic.
- 16. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan.
- 17. Sauté the shallot and garlic until translucent.
- 18. Add the cooled rice to the pan.
- 19. Add the chopped parsley to the pan.
- 20. Mix the pan mixture with the minced meat.
- 21. Add the chopped zucchini to the minced meat mixture.
- 22. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
- 23. Fill the blossoms with the mixture.
- 24. Twist the ends of the blossoms slightly.
- 25. Place the stuffed blossoms side by side in an oiled baking dish.
- 26. Drizzle the blossoms with olive oil.
- 27. Bake the blossoms in the preheated oven until golden brown.
- 28. The baking time is 20 to 25 minutes.
