  2. 2. Peel the onion and cut it into thin strips.
  3. 3. Wash the zucchini and slice it into very thin rounds.
  4. 4. Clean the mushrooms and slice them or cut them into quarters.
  5. 5. Cut the ham into small cubes.
  6. 6. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
  7. 7. Fry the onions, zucchini, mushrooms, and ham cubes vigorously for about 5 minutes while stirring.
  8. 8. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Place the fried vegetables into a fireproof baking dish.
  10. 10. Wash the chives and cut them into small rings.
  11. 11. Whisk the eggs with the milk, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of the chive rings.
  12. 12. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables in the dish.
  13. 13. Bake the casserole at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes until the eggs are set.
  14. 14. Sprinkle the finished casserole with the remaining chives and serve.
