🍽️ Creamy Zucchini-Lemon Sauce with Feta

Ingredients
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 zucchini
- 1 organic lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 200 g cooking cream
- 1 potato
- salt
- pepper
- 0.25 tsp dried thyme
- 100 g feta (45% fat in dry matter)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallot and the garlic.
- 2. Finely chop the shallot and the garlic.
- 3. Rinse the zucchini under running water.
- 4. Cut the zucchini into small cubes.
- 5. Rinse the lemon with hot water.
- 6. Dry the lemon.
- 7. Zest the lemon.
- 8. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 9. Heat the olive oil in a pot.
- 10. Sauté the shallot and garlic for 3 minutes over medium heat.
- 11. Add the zucchini cubes to the pot.
- 12. Sauté the zucchini for another 5 minutes.
- 13. Peel the potato.
- 14. Rinse the potato.
- 15. Grate the potato finely.
- 16. Add the grated potato to the pot.
- 17. Add the cream to the pot.
- 18. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
- 19. Season the sauce with salt.
- 20. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 21. Season the sauce with thyme.
- 22. Add the lemon juice to the sauce.
- 23. Add the lemon zest to the sauce.
- 24. Crumble the feta into small pieces.
- 25. Fold the feta into the sauce.
