Ingredients
- 2 Zucchini
- 8 Eggs
- 150 ml Heavy cream (at least 30% fat content)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Garlic clove
- 150 g Goat cheese (log)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the zucchinis thoroughly.
- 3. Remove the hard ends of the zucchinis.
- 4. Slice the zucchinis into thin rounds.
- 5. Whisk the eggs with the cream in a bowl.
- 6. Season the egg-cream mixture with salt.
- 7. Add pepper to the mixture.
- 8. Stir nutmeg into the mixture.
- 9. Heat the oil in a pan.
- 10. Fry the zucchini slices in the pan.
- 11. Turn the zucchini slices occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- 12. Peel the garlic.
- 13. Press the garlic directly into the pan.
- 14. Pour the egg-cream mixture over the zucchini.
- 15. Distribute the liquid evenly in the pan.
- 16. Let the mixture set briefly until it becomes slightly firm.
- 17. Halve the goat cheese lengthwise.
- 18. Slice the goat cheese into thin strips.
- 19. Distribute the goat cheese slices over the frittata.
- 20. Place the pan in the preheated oven.
- 21. Bake the quiche for about 10 minutes.
- 22. Remove the quiche when it is golden brown.
- 23. Cut the quiche into pieces.
- 24. Serve the quiche warm.
