🍽️ Crispy Zucchini Sticks with Spicy Dip

Ingredients
- 120 g flour or chickpea flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- pepper
- 2 –3 medium zucchini
- 115 g breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp vegan yogurt
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp agave syrup
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a bowl.
- 2. Whisk the flour with 210 milliliters of water until smooth.
- 3. Season the mixture with salt and oregano.
- 4. Add one teaspoon of garlic powder and one teaspoon of onion powder.
- 5. Finish by seasoning with black pepper to taste.
- 6. Wash the zucchini under running water.
- 7. Remove the tough ends of the zucchini.
- 8. Cut the zucchini into long, finger-thick sticks.
- 9. Dip each zucchini stick one by one into the prepared batter.
- 10. Then roll the dipped sticks in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 215 degrees Celsius.
- 12. If using fan-assisted mode, set the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 13. If using gas, set the level to 3 to 4.
- 14. Place the breaded zucchini sticks on a baking sheet.
- 15. Bake the sticks in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 16. Put vegan yogurt into a small bowl.
- 17. Stir Sriracha chili sauce into the yogurt.
- 18. Add some vinegar.
- 19. Sweeten the mixture with agave syrup.
- 20. Add the remaining garlic powder and onion powder to the dip mixture.
- 21. Whisk all dip ingredients together well.
- 22. Take the zucchini sticks out of the oven.
- 23. Serve the hot sticks together with the spicy dip.
