  2. 2. Place the pearl barley in a pot.
  3. 3. Cover them with water.
  4. 4. Add a pinch of salt.
  5. 5. Bring the water to a boil.
  6. 6. Cook the pearl barley for about 45 minutes.
  7. 7. Peel the shallot and the garlic.
  8. 8. Finely chop the shallot and garlic.
  9. 9. Heat oil in a hot pan.
  10. 10. Sauté the chopped onion mixture until translucent in the oil.
  11. 11. Add the minced meat to the pan.
  12. 12. Fry the meat until it is crumbly.
  13. 13. Wash the tomatoes.
  14. 14. Quarter the tomatoes.
  15. 15. Fold the tomato pieces into the meat.
  16. 16. Pour in the broth.
  17. 17. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Chop the parsley and fold it in.
  19. 19. Taste the filling and adjust seasoning if needed.
  20. 20. Simmer the mixture over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

  31. 31. Fill the zucchini cavities with the meat and barley mixture.
  32. 32. Sprinkle the cheese over the filling.
  33. 33. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
  34. 34. Gratin the zucchini for about 30 minutes.
  35. 35. Remove the zucchini from the oven.
  36. 36. Garnish the dish with dill.
  37. 37. Serve the zucchini hot.
