  1. 1. Rinse the veal thoroughly and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Slice the meat into thin pieces.
  3. 3. Season the meat slices with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Wash the sage leaves and shake off excess water.
  5. 5. Pluck the individual leaves from the stems.
  6. 6. Place one sage leaf on each slice of meat.
  7. 7. Fold the meat slices together with the topping.
  8. 8. Wrap each meat roll with a slice of bacon.
  9. 9. Wash the zucchini and remove the hard ends.
  10. 10. Cut the zucchini into slices about 1 centimeter thick.
  11. 11. Thread the meat rolls and zucchini slices alternately onto wooden skewers.
  12. 12. Preheat a hot stone.
  13. 13. Grill the skewers on the hot stone.
  14. 14. Turn the skewers regularly while grilling.
  15. 15. Serve the skewers with white bread if desired.
