Ingredients
- 75 ml lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 75 ml lime juice (about 3 limes)
- 1 sprig mint
- 120 g sugar
- 1 unwaxed lemon
- 1 unwaxed lime
- 8 ice cubes
Instructions
- 1. Squeeze the lemons and limes. Put the juice into a bowl.
- 2. Pour in 500 milliliters of cold water.
- 3. Add the mint.
- 4. Cover the bowl.
- 5. Let the mixture steep overnight.
- 6. Heat the sugar with 120 milliliters of water in a pot.
- 7. Let the mixture boil for five minutes.
- 8. Let the syrup cool down.
- 9. Pour the lemon juice through a sieve into a jug.
- 10. Add the cooled sugar syrup.
- 11. Stir everything well.
- 12. Rinse the unwaxed lemon and lime with hot water.
- 13. Cut the fruits into wedges.
- 14. Add the fruit wedges and ice cubes to the jug.
- 15. Serve the lemonade immediately.
