🍽️ Fresh Citrus Jam

Ingredients
- 2 kg limes
- 2 untreated oranges
- 1 apple
- 200 g brown sugar
- 800 g jam sugar
Instructions
- 1. Peel the skin from half of the limes.
- 2. Cut out the segments (the juicy flesh without skin and seeds) from the limes.
- 3. Catch the dripping lime juice in a bowl.
- 4. Squeeze the remaining lime halves to extract the juice.
- 5. Rinse the oranges thoroughly under hot water.
- 6. Dry the oranges with a cloth.
- 7. Peel the thin, orange layer of the oranges into fine strips (zest).
- 8. Squeeze the juice from the oranges.
- 9. Peel the apple.
- 10. Cut the apple into four quarters.
- 11. Remove the core (the hard part with the seeds) from the apple quarters.
- 12. Grate the apple flesh finely.
- 13. Put the grated apples, lime juice, lime segments, orange juice, and orange zest into a pot.
- 14. Add the brown sugar to the pot.
- 15. Let the mixture steep for about 20 minutes.
