  3. 3. Cook it until it reaches a syrupy consistency.
  4. 4. Soak the gelatin in cold water.
  5. 5. Mix 100 milliliters of orange juice with the hot syrup.
  6. 6. Squeeze the soaked gelatin well.
  7. 7. Dissolve the gelatin in the mixture over low heat.
  8. 8. Stir in the remaining orange juice.
  9. 9. Peel the oranges and grapefruits thoroughly using a sharp knife.
  10. 10. Carefully separate the fruit segments from the membranes.
  11. 11. Catch the juice that escapes.
  12. 12. Squeeze the remaining fruit pulp by hand.
  13. 13. Mix the fruit segments, the collected juice, Cointreau, and the jelly base.
  14. 14. Transfer the mixture into a bowl.
  15. 15. Place the bowl in the refrigerator.
  16. 16. Let the jelly set for about 3 hours.
