  2. 2. Pick the coriander leaves off the stems.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic clove.
  4. 4. Finely chop the coriander and the garlic.
  5. 5. Mix the lime juice with the chopped coriander and garlic.
  6. 6. Season the mixture with salt and a pinch of sugar.
  7. 7. Set the marinade aside.
  8. 8. Rinse the cod fillet under cold water.
  9. 9. Pat the fish dry with a kitchen towel.
  10. 10. Cut the fish into small pieces, about the size of a hazelnut.
  11. 11. Lightly salt the fish pieces.
  12. 12. Peel the onion.
  13. 13. Halve the onion.
  14. 14. Cut the onion halves into thin strips.
  15. 15. Halve the avocado and remove the pit.
  16. 16. Carefully scoop the avocado flesh out of the skin with a spoon.
  17. 17. Dice the avocado flesh finely.
  18. 18. Mix the cod with the onion strips and the avocado cubes.
  19. 19. Spread the mixture onto a plate.
  20. 20. Drizzle the lime marinade over the ceviche.
  21. 21. Place the plate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
