  1. 1. Wash two lemons thoroughly under hot water and peel the zest thinly.
  2. 2. Squeeze all the lemons.
  3. 3. Dissolve the sugar in 400 ml lukewarm water.
  4. 4. Add the lemon juice.
  5. 5. Place the mixture in a bowl and put it in the freezer compartment.
  6. 6. Freeze for four hours, stirring well every hour.
  7. 7. Alternatively, freeze in an ice cream maker.
  8. 8. Cut the lemon zest into fine strips.
  9. 9. Serve the finished sorbet decorated with the lemon zest strips.
