🍽️ Crispy Turkey Schnitzels with Lemon Sauce and Rice

Ingredients
- 100 g wild rice mix
- salt
- 300 g green beans
- 1 large organic lemon
- 250 g turkey schnitzel (2 turkey schnitzel)
- pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (10 g each)
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 1 tsp brown sugar
Instructions
- 1. Place the wild rice mix in a sieve.
- 2. Rinse the rice briefly under running water.
- 3. Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions.
- 4. Wash the beans thoroughly.
- 5. Remove the hard ends and strings from the beans.
- 6. Place the beans in a pot.
- 7. Cover the beans with salted water.
- 8. Bring the water to a boil.
- 9. Reduce the heat to medium.
- 10. Cover the pot.
- 11. Cook the beans for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 12. Rinse the lemon under hot water.
- 13. Dry the lemon with a cloth.
- 14. Cut the lemon in half.
- 15. Cut two thin slices from the lemon.
- 16. Place the lemon slices on a small plate.
- 17. Squeeze the rest of the lemon.
- 18. Rinse the turkey schnitzels.
- 19. Pat the schnitzels dry with kitchen paper.
- 20. Season the schnitzels with salt and pepper.
- 21. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- 22. Fry the turkey schnitzels brown on both sides.
- 23. Reduce the heat to medium.
- 24. Fry the schnitzels for another 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
- 25. Remove the schnitzels from the pan.
- 26. Preheat the oven to 50 degrees Celsius.
- 27. Keep the schnitzels warm in the oven.
- 28. Add the lemon juice to the pan.
- 29. Add the vegetable broth to the pan.
- 30. Add the sugar to the pan.
- 31. Stir the ingredients well.
- 32. Increase the heat to high.
- 33. Cook the sauce until it has almost completely evaporated.
- 34. Continue cooking until the sauce is syrupy.
- 35. Drain the rice.
- 36. Drain the beans.
- 37. Place the rice and beans on a plate.
- 38. Place the turkey schnitzels on the plate.
- 39. Drizzle the schnitzels with the lemon sauce.
- 40. Garnish the dish with the lemon slices.
- 41. Serve the dish immediately.
