🍽️ Fresh Lemon Basilade

Ingredients
- 50 g Sugar
- 3 untreated lemons
- 1 handful basil
- 750 ml still mineral water (well chilled)
- Ice cubes (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Put 50 milliliters of water and sugar into a saucepan.
- 2. Bring the mixture to a boil to make a syrup.
- 3. Let the syrup cool down to room temperature.
- 4. Wash the lemons thoroughly under running water.
- 5. Slice one of the lemons into thin rounds.
- 6. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lemons.
- 7. Place the lemon slices and the juice into a large bowl.
- 8. Mix the ingredients with the cooled syrup.
- 9. Let the mixture steep for about 30 minutes.
- 10. Wash the basil and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 11. Add the basil and the lemon mixture to a carafe.
- 12. Fill the carafe with mineral water.
- 13. Place the lemonade in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
- 14. Serve the lemonade with ice cubes.
