  1. 1. Put 50 milliliters of water and sugar into a saucepan.
  2. 2. Bring the mixture to a boil to make a syrup.
  3. 3. Let the syrup cool down to room temperature.
  4. 4. Wash the lemons thoroughly under running water.
  5. 5. Slice one of the lemons into thin rounds.
  6. 6. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lemons.
  7. 7. Place the lemon slices and the juice into a large bowl.
  8. 8. Mix the ingredients with the cooled syrup.
  9. 9. Let the mixture steep for about 30 minutes.
  10. 10. Wash the basil and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
  11. 11. Add the basil and the lemon mixture to a carafe.
  12. 12. Fill the carafe with mineral water.
  13. 13. Place the lemonade in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  14. 14. Serve the lemonade with ice cubes.
