  1. 1. Cut the rabbit into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2. Wash the meat pieces and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely.
  4. 4. Mix the chopped garlic with olive oil and pine nuts in a small bowl.
  5. 5. Heat some olive oil in a large pot or casserole dish.
  6. 6. Fry the rabbit pieces on all sides until golden brown.
  7. 7. Add the garlic and pine nut mixture to the meat and fry briefly.
  8. 8. Deglaze the meat with white wine.
  9. 9. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Peel the zest from half of the untreated lemon.
  11. 11. Finely chop the lemon zest.
  12. 12. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lemon.
  13. 13. Add the lemon juice, oregano, and chopped lemon zest to the pot.
  14. 14. Pour in the meat broth.
  15. 15. Simmer the dish on low heat with the lid closed for 45 minutes.
  16. 16. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
  17. 17. Cook the potatoes in salted water for 25 minutes.
  18. 18. Slice the remaining half lemon into thin slices.
  19. 19. Serve the rabbit with the potatoes and lemon slices.
