🍽️ Lemon Chicken with Chorizo and Garlic

Ingredients
- 1 chicken (ready for kitchen, 1.2 kg)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 untreated lemon
- 400 g potatoes
- 4 small chorizo (á 100 g)
- 1 bunch thyme
- 1 garlic bulb
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for the dish)
- 150 ml poultry broth
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Rinse the chicken under running water.
- 3. Pat the chicken completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 4. Cut the chicken into 8 equal pieces.
- 5. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- 6. Rinse the lemon under hot water.
- 7. Cut the lemon into 8 equal wedges.
- 8. Peel the potatoes and rinse them.
- 9. Halve the potatoes.
- 10. Remove the chorizo sausages from their casing.
- 11. Rinse the thyme sprigs under running water.
- 12. Shake the thyme sprigs dry.
- 13. Grease a baking dish with some fat.
- 14. Place the chicken pieces in the prepared dish.
- 15. Add the lemon wedges to the dish.
- 16. Add the halved potatoes to the dish.
- 17. Add the chorizo sausages to the dish.
- 18. Add the garlic to the dish.
- 19. Add the thyme sprigs to the dish.
- 20. Pour the broth over all ingredients in the dish.
- 21. Place the dish in the preheated oven.
- 22. Roast the dish for 35 to 40 minutes.
- 23. Remove the dish from the oven.
- 24. Serve the dish immediately.
