Ingredients
- 1000 g Red snapper, ready for cooking (4 Red snappers)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 4 sprigs Basil
- 4 sprigs Rosemary
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 3 cm Ginger
- 100 g Lemon jam
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish under running water.
- 2. Pat the fish completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the inside of the fish with salt and pepper.
- 4. Rinse the herbs under running water.
- 5. Shake the herbs dry.
- 6. Stuff the herbs into the belly cavity of the fish.
- 7. Tie the fish together with kitchen twine.
- 8. Peel the garlic.
- 9. Peel the ginger.
- 10. Finely chop the garlic.
- 11. Finely chop the ginger.
- 12. Mix the chopped garlic and ginger with the jam.
- 13. Season the outside of the fish with salt and pepper.
- 14. Drizzle the fish with the oil.
- 15. Place the fish on a grill tray.
- 16. Preheat the grill.
- 17. Place the grill tray with the fish on the hot grill.
- 18. Spread the jam mixture over the fish.
- 19. Close the grill lid.
- 20. Grill the fish for approx. 15 minutes.
- 21. Remove the fish from the grill.
- 22. Plate the fish.
- 23. Serve the fish.
