  5. 5. Pat the sardines dry with a kitchen towel.
  6. 6. Cut the sardines into bite-sized pieces.
  7. 7. Wash the lemon under hot water.
  8. 8. Peel the lemon skin in fine strips to get zest.
  9. 9. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
  10. 10. Peel the garlic.
  11. 11. Finely chop the garlic.
  12. 12. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  13. 13. Fry the pine nuts, garlic, and sardines in the hot oil.
  14. 14. Fry the ingredients for two to three minutes.
  15. 15. Deglaze the pan with the lemon juice.
  16. 16. Add the drained pasta to the pan.
  17. 17. Add a little pasta water.
  18. 18. Add the lemon zest.
  19. 19. Add the parsley.
